If previously the type of mobile advertising are using ringing tone (ring backtone), outbound calls, and cell broadcast, today they introduced SMS 2.0. This services comes in the form of text images, sound and video. It will added bulk services, free Ads, Mobile Media, Pop Screen and WAP Banner.
With more than 82 million subscribers, Telkomsel predict mobile advertising market could reach 10% around 400 billion rupiah. If this compare with annual advertising expenditure, probably the number still small, but considering the worldwide trends. Mobile advertising could be leader soon.
