In the year 2007, Indonesia government issue a regulation that might impact advertising industry in here.
In the year 2007, Indonesia government issue a regulation that might impact advertising industry in here. Ministry of Communication and Information release a regulation that control a use of domestic resources for an ads if they want to be broadcast within Indonesia region.
It is saying that all commercial production must use resources form Indonesia region. It including all parties that involved in the creation of and ads. Start from model, director, creative, lightning, producer, cameraman, crew, etc. And the list of domestic resources goes by to the editor online, offline editing, effects editing, animation artist, musician, songwriter, record voice interpreters, technical adviser and stunt double (stuntman), and editor of 3D animation special effects.
Will this regulation effect the advertising in Indonesia ? It is still unknown, because until now October 2009 the regulation still haven't applied yet. Some industries parties are saying if this regulation applied, there will be not more than 10 agencies will survival. will this happen ? We have to see some time in the future.
